About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and initiating conversations with corporations, businesses, and other organizations to secure sponsorship funding. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in business development, research, and relationship-building.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research to identify potential sponsors, partners, and funding opportunities.

• Initiate and manage outreach efforts to corporations, businesses, and organizations via email, phone, and other communication channels.

• Develop and maintain a database of potential sponsors, including contact information, outreach history, and follow-up schedules.

• Craft compelling sponsorship proposals, presentations, and other materials to engage potential partners.

• Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for sponsorship acquisition and relationship management.

• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for partnerships.

• Maintain clear and professional communication with potential sponsors, ensuring timely follow-ups and updates.

• Assist in preparing reports and presentations to track progress and measure the success of outreach efforts.

 

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to craft persuasive messages and engage professionally with stakeholders.

• Strong research and analytical skills to identify and evaluate potential sponsorship opportunities.

• High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in research, outreach, and documentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

• Prior experience in business development, sales, or marketing (preferred but not required).
