About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and initiating conversations with corporations, businesses, and other organizations to secure sponsorship funding. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in business development, research, and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough research to identify potential sponsors, partners, and funding opportunities.

Initiate and manage outreach efforts to corporations, businesses, and organizations via email, phone, and other communication channels.

Develop and maintain a database of potential sponsors, including contact information, outreach history, and follow-up schedules.

Craft compelling sponsorship proposals, presentations, and other materials to engage potential partners.

Collaborate with the team to develop strategies for sponsorship acquisition and relationship management.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for partnerships.

Maintain clear and professional communication with potential sponsors, ensuring timely follow-ups and updates.

Assist in preparing reports and presentations to track progress and measure the success of outreach efforts.
Qualifications

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to craft persuasive messages and engage professionally with stakeholders.

Strong research and analytical skills to identify and evaluate potential sponsorship opportunities.

High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in research, outreach, and documentation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Prior experience in business development, sales, or marketing (preferred but not required).
